Who We Are AT THE SOUTH SHORE ELITE

Our Story

The story of the South Shore Elite Travel Baseball Organization is one of passion, dedication, and a commitment to providing high-quality baseball opportunities for young athletes in the community. Founded with a vision to make elite baseball training accessible to all, South Shore Elite began as a grassroots initiative driven by a group of passionate coaches and community members who wanted to create a positive impact on youth baseball development. Recognizing the financial barriers that often limit access to elite-level training programs, the founders were determined to build an organization that would prioritize affordability without compromising on quality.

From the outset, the South Shore Elite set out to establish partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and supporters who shared their vision of making baseball more accessible to aspiring young athletes. Through these collaborations, they were able to secure funding and resources to keep program costs low while maintaining high standards of coaching and training.

Over the years, South Shore Elite has grown from a small initiative into a thriving baseball organization that has positively impacted the lives of countless young athletes. With a commitment to affordability, excellence, and community engagement, South Shore Elite continues to be a beacon of opportunity for aspiring baseball players, empowering them to chase their dreams and reach their full potential on and off the field.

Why the South Shore Elite?

The South Shore Elite  stands out for several reasons:

  1. Coaching Staff: Our organization is led by a team of experienced and dedicated coaches who are passionate about developing players both on and off the field. With their expertise, they guide players through skill development, strategy, and teamwork, fostering growth and success.
  2. Facilities: We provide our players with local facilities equipped with everything they need to excel in their training and competitions. From well-maintained fields to modern training equipment, we ensure that our players have the resources necessary to reach their full potential.
  3. Tournament & League Play: Our program  competes in competition appropriate  high-level tournaments, providing players with valuable opportunities to showcase their skills against top competition. These competitions not only challenge players but also offer exposure to college scouts and recruiters, opening doors for future opportunities in baseball.
  4. College Exposure Opportunities: We understand the importance of college exposure for aspiring student-athletes. That's why we actively seek opportunities for our players to be seen by college coaches, whether it's through tournaments, showcases, or personalized recruiting assistance.
  5. Player Development Programs: Player development is at the core of everything we do. We offer comprehensive development programs designed to enhance players' skills, knowledge, and confidence on the field. Through personalized coaching, practice sessions, and feedback, we help our players grow into well-rounded athletes and individuals.
  6. Community and Support: Beyond the field, South Shore Elite fosters a supportive and inclusive community where players, coaches, and families come together to share their passion for baseball. We believe in the power of teamwork, camaraderie, and mutual support in achieving success both on and off the field.

Overall, the combination of professional coaching, top-notch facilities, competitive opportunities, college exposure, player development programs, and supportive community makes South Shore Elite Travel Baseball Organization a great choice for young athletes looking to take their game to the next level.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at SOUTHSHOREELITEBASEBALL@GMAIL.COM if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  •  Long Island Boys Of Summer Baseball League.

  •  The level of competition is evaluated by the staff and determined by the staff. There will be zero parent influence regardless of the talent level they are.

  • Since the organization started in 2010, we have not done a Spring season. The reason being is that there should be an emphasis on players playing for their school team.  Teams that participate in a spring league are typically the "big" team names that own a facility and it's another season to make money.  In addition, the tournaments they enter in only have 3/4 teams and are often not competitive.

  • We expect our players to make their school teams and be too busy for a spring league. Typically, parents of middle school aged players want their player to play spring ball. Once they reach High School, players are way too busy and need the break on the weekend.

  • We enter into tournaments that appropriately challenge each team. Some tournaments we have participated in the past include: PERFECT GAME, East Coast Tournaments, Lasorda Legacy Park, Firecracker Sports Tournaments, Axcess Baseball, Hot Stove, & many more.

  •  Beginning in the Winter of 2023, The South Shore Elite started training at MAX EFFORT located in Farmingdale, Long Island. In addition, the South Shore Elite has a strength and conditioning partnership with Carbon Training located in Amityville, Long Island. The combination of the two programs provides 15+ week program for our players. Players engage in two days of baseball and two days of strength and conditioning per week during the program.

  •  Summer of 2024: we have expanded our relationship with MAX EFFORT and our players will have a 10 week hitting program throughout the Summer season.

  • Mostly Levittown & surrounding Nassau County & Town of Hempstead fields.

  • Yes. We are very familiar with the scheduling of fall school sports and try our best to schedule around their time at practice. In addition, we schedule our games to avoid any conflicts with school sports on the weekends.
  • With school starting and potentially participating in a fall school sport we understand that there will be days where it will be hard to get your child to practice on time or at all. There is no penalty for this. We have been doing this a long time and understand the conflicts that may arise during the fall. The fall is a time to get better and improve.
